In fa~ct, you showed me her baby photos once. [It was briefly and a while ago, so he won't be surprised if he doesn't remember. The Other Father's been so busy with his own family that keeping track of the 'gear sometimes gets a little over his head.]

[He thinks back, that was a while ago and he's pretty sure he hadn't spoken to anyone with scale....wait. He nods.]

Really, and who gets to decide that? Are the kids allowed to leave if they want to go home?

Silent Hill? It's a place that has a tendency to shift to a world of someone's nightmarish delusions come to life. That second one is called the Otherworld. And it also has a history of kidnapping children.

[He nods.] Yep. [They are... Mother might just steal their real parents.]

Another Otherworld? [Oh god, there are other Others, aren't there? He did always wonder.]

[He puts on a fake, perfectly fine smile; his eyes are telling the tale of confusion, however.] Our Otherworld's only made of dreams.

[It's not entirely a lie... the 'only' is, sadly. He hates lying, but he can't just tell them 'We capture children so that Mother can eat them. He just wants a family and the best for her.... and he can't tell them the truth.]

Not all dreams are good. Nightmares are dreams as well.

What happens when the children who want to leave go home?

[He doesn't trust anything called the "otherworld" to let them go that easily.]

We wait until the next child who lives there needs us. [Mother will die and in turn, so will every Other.]

And you just let them go.

Do many choose to stay with you? You must miss them being stuck here.
