Search Three: [Video] / Action for Goldenrod

[Video: Hey Route! Have an awkwardly smiling Harry, he's standing outside a hotel. Lisa the Togepi is peaking out of the bag on his shoulder, looking around.]

I guess you can get used to anything. Or at least I'm getting used to camping anyway. Heather and I made it to Goldenrod.

[Just looking around]

....I guess it is true they paint every building the same colour. ...

Ah, well. I'd better go look around a bit so I don't get lost.

[Action:

Harry Mason is off on an adventure. And by adventure I mean he's exploring Goldenrod.

You can find him looking around a few places in the town. Stores mostly. Why yes he does look lost. ...is there a book store? He may be looking for something with books. Or feel free to find him in front of the hotel. ]

[The eleven-foot snake decided to coil its tail around his waist and pick him up off the ground like he weighed nothing, but Otacon didn't exactly seem concerned. She was quite the clingy giant snake.]

Kotai, please put me down. I don't have any more food for you right now.

[The Ampharos waddled over with a dorky smile on his face because aaaa new person I can has headpats? On the other hand, the Arbok seemed quite content to keep holding on to her unfazed trainer.]

Oh, hey. You're Heather's father, right?

Yes. Harry Mason. I think we talked before.

[Okay sheep thing he's alright with. Sorta. The Togepi in his back pack makes some small noises. Oh hey, new friend right?]

Yeah, I'm Hal Emmerich--Otacon, whichever you want to call me. Kotai, could you please put me down?

[The Arbok finally let him go, while his Ampharos waved enthusiastically. NEW FRIENDS OMG.]

It's nice to meet you. I just got here with Heather a few days ago.

[Harry eventually get's from Lisa's waving her arm in his face that she'd like to be let down now. So he'll place her on the ground so she can go say hello. Hi friend!]

It's great to finally meet you in person. I've heard a lot about you. O-oh, and these two are Kotai and Asimov.

[The Arbok tilted her head at the sound of her name, while Asimov was too busy investigating this funny little egg-shaped friend to care.]

So Heathers been telling me.

Oh? Did you name him after the author?

[Writer senses go. And he indicates where the Togepi is jumping up and down. She likes to do that.]

Oh, boy. I hope she didn't tell you anything too embarrassing about me.

Actually, yeah. He was a little electric-type sheep when I got him--probably should have named him Rick Deckard or something, but I liked how 'Asimov' sounded.

She's a Togepi, right? My best friend started with one of those.

Nothing too bad yet.

[Smiles at that. Yay, book references.]

It's a good name either way. Are you a science fiction fan?

Yes. So they tell me. I'm still getting used to all of them.

Not too much, just a little. My father was a lot more of a fan of it than I am.

It does take a while to get used to, but it's not so bad once you do.

I mostly write mysteries myself.

That's good to hear. Their obsession with these...Pokemon is still a little strange.

Really? Sounds pretty interesting.

...yeah, it's strange to say the least. But they're really good friends more often than not. [He reached up to give Kotai a light pat on the head, which she seemingly appreciated quite a bit.]

I'm coming to see that. Lisa's surprised me a lot over the past few weeks.

Well, is there anything you need help with? I've been here for a while, and I think I've gotten the hang of it by now.

Heather's explained most of the basics too me I think.

...what are they supposed to do ...exactly? I know they have information and maps on them...and you can you them to use like a video phone thing...

Well, like you said--they've got a map, information, a radio, and a few different kinds of communication.

[He took out his Pokegear, starting to carefully explain each function and how to work it--there may have been a little technobabble in there, but he tried his best to keep it clear.]

[Listening closely. He's not totally technology dense. ...Just mostly. He seems to be understanding most of it though.

He picks things up quickly anyway.]
