Search Six: [Video/ Action for Olivine City]

[The camera is shaky, mostly because it's being played with by a togepi. You can see the random inside of the hotel room and when it settles on a set place you can see Harry sitting at a table, using a notebook to jot a few things down in. All in all a normal day. Pretty boring too.

Then there's a cracking noise from behind the camera and Harry freezes. He'll slowly look around for the noise and notices Lisa.]

Lisa, what are you...that isn't on is it?

[Another cracking noise distracts them and Harry manages to get the device back. The screen will go dark for a while.

A short time after that, the video switches on again. This time not as shaky as Harry's holding it. You can see him, looking awkward../normal. ]

Ah sorry about that...I didn't realize she was playing with this.

Oh... the egg I got months ago hatched.

[The video now shows Lisa the Togepi standing next to another tiny pokemon. It's a Pichu. ]

I guess I'll have to come up with a name for it now. ...you'd think I'd be better at coming up with names then this.

[Action: Olivine]

[Harry is walking around the city, with a Pichu running ahead of him. Apparently exploring is fun. Feel free to have a pokemon tugging on your pant legs if you're standing there. Or see it walk by if you're walking. Harry won't be far behind.]

[Alessa the Absol is trotting along slightly ahead of them, apparently not wanting to get TOO close to the baby, but at least trying to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't wander off.]}

'Bout TIME that thing hatched!

[That's good, because so far the Pichu is interested in exploring EVERYTHING. Oh hey look, the curb. Let's poke that for a while.]

[Harry chuckles as they walk along.]

I was starting to wonder. Maybe it's comfortable in there.

'Zilla took awhile to hatch too, so I guess it just varies. I mean, heck, I've had an egg for AGES and it hasn't made so much as a peep... twitches sometimes, though, so I know it's not, like, dead...

Maybe some are just in a hurry and others are chill.

_{[She watches the little electric mouse scurry around with a grin.]}

... Seems a lot more adventurous than Lisa.

Maybe.

[He watches the Pichu find a bottle cap on the ground and start kicking it.]

Much more.

I suppose she needs a name though. Any idea's?

Hmmm...

Well, we could go the massively uncreative route and name it 'Sparky'...

We could....but I'd rather something a little less obvious.

Hmmm...

_{[She rubs her chin, trying to call up the old days, back when she used to help him come up with names for his characters...]}

... How about 'Fiver'?

You know, from Watership Down.

That's a possibility.

Or maybe not Fiver... he was never adventurous.

Do I get a gold star sticker for naming something like I did when I was little?

_{[He had to pay her for all those character-names SOMEHOW!]}

Well I don't have any stickers with me at the moment....

[Stickers are the best reward.]

Darn...

Oh well. I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with knowing I did a good job.

I'm sure I'll think of something.

[It's a tradition after all.]

... Hey, I got it.

How about ice cream?

[Pretends to think about it.]

I don't know Heather, I think there was a rule against the reward not being edible....

Though that might have been because I caught you trying to eat one of the stickers that looks like a strawberry.

Where did you get the egg, Mr. Mason? I didn't even know you had one.

I've had it in my backpack for a while now. Heather gave it to me a few weeks after I arrived here.

I didn't know Pikachu evolved from anything. Everything I thought I knew about poke'mon is all upside down now.

Well I didn't know anything about them. So you know more then I do.

Is that a Pichu? [How cute.] Kodama and Tir would probably love playing with him.

Yeah. I think that's what it's called.

[Harry Mason get's all the adorable pokemon.]

Are those your pokemon?

Yeah, they are--- Hold on. [He takes two pokéballs and quickly releases a Minun and a Plusle, both of them squishing their way in front of the screen.] Tir and Kodama, say hi to Harry.

[Harry chuckles and waves, while his own Pichu goes closer to look at the two on the screen.]

[The two of them waves back happily, making little squeaks of greeting, before they jump on either side of Ted and start rubbing their cheeks against his.] Maybe if we ever end up in the same place again, we could let all of them play together.

That sounds like a plan.

[The pichu waves as well before going to sit in front of Harry, and then starts climbing up his leg.]

This one's quite the little adventurer.

Sure seems like it. He'd definitely get along with the other two.

Of course, we might have to worry about them running off all of a sudden.

[He laughs.]

That would be a little troublesome. Hopefully by then she'll have gotten over running off everywhere.

Well, you never know with animals. I guess with the proper discipline, it's definitely possible. [He himself is pretty loose with his own pokémon after all.]

That's true.

Well I've raised a kid, hopefully a few pokemon shouldn't be too much trouble.

[Normally saying that would jinx things, but he's raised Heather..twice and well...Heather.]

Probably, though that's like saying it's easier to raise your pokémon than your kid, don't you think?

I'm reserving judgement at the moment.

[Said with a smile though. He will enjoy teasing his daughter.]
