[The camera is low to the ground and shaking slightly and it's clear after a brief shot that there are Pokemon doing things they aren't supposed to again/Playing with the camera and pretending to go on an adventure with it. Apparently they felt the rest of you had to go along as well Route.

If you watch the somewhat shaky cam you can see a small group of pokemon a. climbing things b. taking turns poking a Pidgeotto or c. running away from the Pidgeotto. Eventually however they'll come across their trainer who is sitting in front of a table. Very quietly they will sneak up on him.....

Harry Mason is looking a little troubled today. It might have something to do with a vial of strange red liquid that's just sitting in front of him.]

....why now of all...

[One of the pokemon moves slightly and Harry turns frowning and then reaching over for the camera.]

Give me that.

[And the camera is shut off.]

[A minute later, you'll have it turned on again and an awkward Harry rubbing his head.]

Sorry about that. ...I'll have to keep the gear out of their reach in the future ...er Happy New Year.

[And with that he'll turn the camera off. You may have noticed the vial of strange liquid suddenly out of the shot the second time but hopefully not.]

[Action: Any of the travel group is free to find Harry just looking over the vial, trying to figure out why the hell he has this now. Though only Heather probably can tell what it is.]

[Denzel remarks rather bitterly. Remember me, Harry?]

These 'devices' seem to find the most inappropriate times to turn on.

[Denzel exclaims and does a slight twitch on Pokemon.]

Nice bird-type - POKEMON! You have there, yes.

[There's a small evil nerdy chuckle following.]

Happy New Years... I suppose.

_{[It's around lunch when Henry comes stumping back into the hotel room with his camera around his neck. He's patted down his clothes as best he can in order to get the smoke smell out. He likes to think it helps.]

[He notices adopted!dad over by the table looking less cheerful than usual. Henry places his bag down by his sleeping spot and ventures over.]}

What's that?

[Mysterious vials of red liquid? That catches Envy's attention, even if it was only onscreen for a short time. He hasn't seen anything like that in the stores here, and it looked a whole lot like the incomplete Philosopher's Stone substance from his world.]

Pokemon can't ever seem to stay away from the 'Gears, can they?

[Casual, casual, casual! Better to lead into questions about strange red substances this way. He recognizes Harry as Heather's (and Henry's) father, but it's not like Envy's ever talked to him much.]

_{[As is fairly usual these days, despite the frigid weather, Heather's been out and about. The sound of the door opening and boots being kicked off signal her return.]}

I'm back, Dad.

_{[She heads over to the mini-fridge in the corner and pulls out a bottle of water before strolling over to the table... and inevitably catching sight of the 'gift' her father has received.]}

... Wow.

Talk about deja vu.

You'll never be able to keep it out of their reach. They always find a way to get their damn paws on things... Even the ones that don't have opposable thumbs.
