[What is this, Harry is being social? There must be a full moon, or something. Either way, the video feed snaps to life and Harry is looking at the camera with an awkward smile.]

Hey everyone.

Since today's fathers day, I thought I'd ask if there were any other fathers that have been dragged here. I know I can't be the only one and it seems like as good a day as any to maybe get in touch and trade stories if anyone wants to share.

Actually mothers as well since I missed that day in May, or even older siblings.

...It would be nice to trade stories. It's a shame, though; I can think of one other father, but he disappeared about a year ago.

[Shaun's voice wobbles dangerously when he speaks. He doesn't trust himself to be on video, not after the brief moment when he felt an almost physical ache when he saw Mr. Mason and for a split second his wish came true and he thought it was his own dad. The illusion didn't last long at all, but it sharpened the ache that he'd woken up with when he realized what day it was.]

[Oh that tone is a familiar one to any father. He keeps his voice soft but not babying.]

Do you want to tell me about him? You don't have to if you don't want to, but I'd like to hear about him.

Of course. Just because your child isn't here right now, doesn't stop you from being a father.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's always hard being separated from family.

Someone I met in this world. He had the loveliest little portraits of his daughter.

This is my second Father's Day without him.

[Here, Shaun's voice cracks.]

The year my brother died, my dad was in a coma from the same accident. Mom didn't let me see him often, but I drew him a card and she let me take it to him and put it next to his bed. It was scary, he was really still and quiet, and he had all these machines that were feeding him and breathing for him and stuff, and I just remember thinking "That can't be my dad, my dad's bigger and stronger than that guy in the bed." It took him six months to wake up, and after that he tried to hide it at first, but he was just so sad all the time. 'Cause Jason died, and Dad tried to save him but he couldn't.

Then last year, a little bit after school started, a bad man kidnapped me and --

[His voice is shaking again and he has to fight to get control again.]

My dad saved me from him. My dad was a hero. I don't care what anyone else said.

You can add one more person to the list, then. Do people often find their kids here?

You and Heather are still together, aren't you?

Ah- That's right. [ he and Agito had been so focused on work and training that they had forgotten about father's day - the first since they found out they actually had a father. ] I used to give things to my older brother for Father's Day. Then later on - late year, actually! - I found out that he was really my Papa.

_{[Heather doesn't bother announcing herself as she comes in and flops down behind him, slinging an arm over his shoulder and letting her head rest on his shoulders. WHUMP.]

[He stays quiet while Shaun talks. The story hits many familiar points with him and it's impossible to miss the pain in the boys voice. When he finishes, Harry will reply softly.]

He sounds like a brave man. I wish I could have met him.

And Shaun, you're right. No matter what people say, your dad was a hero. That's something that no one can change.

With everything's going on, I almost forgot about it.

Atsuro does love his dad, even if his circumstances meant he didn't have the same level of emotional attachment as other children.]

If dad didn't come home, I'd normally chat with him over the Internet.

...I usually get dad a couple pounds of fudge.

We have a yearly fishing trip too, once school's out.

He was really brave. When I was little, he would pick me up and carry me around on his shoulders, like an airplane. It was really great, I always felt super tall when I was up there. I miss him so much. I know he's probably happy now, because he's with Jason, but I still miss him a lot.

I wish you could meet him too. You remind me of him, Mr. Mason.

I'm sure he is.

It's hard to lose someone, especially someone you love like that.

[Wife, then daughter. Yeah he knows that feeling. Even if he did get a daughter back.]

But you know, I bet he'd be proud of you for being so brave. I know I would be.

It's not as common as I'd like. But I know a few people have. Myself included.

Something I'm still thankful for everyday.
